XeniT integrates Alfresco with cator storage: nice intro video with visualisation of the inner working for Castor Object Storage: http://youtu.be/cDydUxaSgyE.
Servix, a Caringo partner in Sao Paulo, Brazil, worked with Tribunal Regional Federal (TRF) to create a compliant storage ecosystem for their federal documents. Servix identified Caringo's object storage software as the right foundation for TRF's storage architecture. The Alfresco-CAStor integration, developed by Xenit, made it easy to integrate their existing Alfresco workflow to a high performance Caringo backend storage solution.
XeniT updated the Alf2CAS interface we make available on the open source Alfresco sourceforge. Improved documentation and clean-up of code due to the native multi-store configuration are available.

Our Alf2CAS interface made the top 10 project downloads on Alfresco Forge this month. Read more about Castor on our products page
CAStor is a new generation Content Addressable Storage solution which provide for massive scalable, reliable and cost efficient storage capacity. Examples situation where CAStor can bring high value:
Alfresco is the open source alternative for Enterprise Content Management, providing Document Management, Collaboration, Records Management, Knowledge Management, Web Content Management and Imaging.
Alfresco couples the innovation of open source with the stability of a true enterprise-class platform. The open source model allows Alfresco to use best-of-breed open source technologies and contributions from the open source community to get higher quality software produced more quickly at much lower cost.
Thanks to XeniT’s focus on Alfresco, we know how to install, and more importantly configure and integrate Alfresco in your environment. Making the right choices in operating system, database, setting parameters right (cache size, index characteristics …) are all paramount to smooth operations. Alfresco can handle millions of documents, but it requires tweaking, a realistic type model, etc. XeniT has developed several custom interfaces for specific cases, guided by Alfresco’s REST-ful architecture.
