DITA XProc Pipelines: a methodology to write and processs topic oriented and reusable content

EMC has announced the release of 'DITA XProc Pipelines' as a library of XProc pipelines for processing OASIS DITA topics and maps to XHTML and PDF.

The Alfresco DevCon 2010 event in Paris was a great success. Over 200 participants gathered with the full Alfresco Engineering team to learn more on both what is coming up as on what is going on in the field.

XeniT presented Fred with a live demo on the server in Belgium. Our message of 'zero training' ECM implementation was well received by the audiance.

The visitors showed also a large interest in Move2Alf, a migration engine  moving documents at high speed (>500 docs/min) into the Alfresco repository.

Fred 1.1 launched

Today XeniT released the Fred 1.1, the new desktop window to Alfresco. This release contains major new functionalities which support the daily handling of documents. Versioning, edit off-line, saving multiple views, viewing folder permissions are some of the new features. Read more about the new release.

Alfresco Software, leader in open source enterprise content management (ECM), today announced the Activiti Business Process Management (BPM) open source project and the addition of leading BPM expert Tom Baeyens as Chief Architect, BPM. The Activiti project is a new Apache-licensed open source BPM platform designed from a blank slate to implement the new BPMN 2.0 standard from the Object Management Group (OMG) and to support new technology challenges such as interoperability and the Cloud.
